Welcoming Our First Guild Partner Charles Belle

​​Charles Belle bridges the gap between Web3 and institutional finance like few others can. As the former Filecoin Foundation Teaching Fellow at USF Law, he taught Corporations, Decentralized Finance (DeFi) Law, and Blockchain & the Law while leading two critical projects: the Blockchain Microbond (BMB) Project and the Blockchain Regulations Definition (BRD) Project—both addressing how institutional capital can actually move into decentralized systems.

His investment focus: to build DeFi solutions engineered for institutions tokenizing real-world assets to move onchain. He combines legal expertise, technical chops, and deep connections across academic and practitioner communities, making him a rare connector between regulatory innovation and institutional adoption.

Charles’ vision for The Guild is to bring Web3 and private market communities into the same room, and to elevate the conversation around alternative assets, infrastructure evolution, and expanding wealth access.

As part of this vision, Charles is hosting Crypto, Capital, & Cocktails, a curated gathering of crypto and private-market enthusiasts on November 7th in San Francisco. If you’re interested in connecting, conversing, and exploring new ideas over drinks, request to attend. Spots are limited.
